| Maryland Crab Soup Recipe | Maryland Crab Soup Recipe Ingredients:- 2 Rasher Bacon - finely diced
- 2 Large Onion - diced
- 2 Carrots - diced
- 2 Stalks Celery - diced
- 1/2 cup Fresh Parsley
- 4 cups Beef Broth
- 2˝ cups Clam Juice
- 2 cups Water
- 1 Smoked Ham Hock - scored deeply
- 2 Bay Leaves
- 1/2 Teas Powdered Mustard
- 2 tablespoons Old Bay Seasoning
- 3 cups diced Potatoes
- 2˝ cups canned Italian Tomatoes and juice
- 1 cup Fresh Corn Niblets
- 12oz Lump Crab Meat

| Maryland Crab Soup Recipe Instructions:In a large pot fry the bacon until almost crisp then the onion, carrot, celery, and parsley. Sauté until the onion is tender. Add beef broth, clam juice, water, ham hock, bay leaves, mustard, and Old Bay. Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer for 10 minutes Add potatoes. Simmer until tender. Crush the tomatoes. Add tomatoes and juice to the pot. Add the corn, simmer 10 more minutes. Add the crab, Stir gently so the lumps are not broken up. Serve when crab is hot.
