Recipe Can Lobster Ingredients:- 1 can Lobster Meat
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs
- 1 quart Milk
- 1 quart Water
- 1 tablespoon Flour
- 1/4 cup Vegetable Shortening
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Red Pepper - to taste
- grated Nutmeg to taste
- squares Fried Bread
- thin Lemon - slices

Recipe Can Lobster Instructions:Open the can of lobster meat and take out best pieces then cut into small squares without tearing; put them aside. Put remains of lobster meat in mortar and pound quite smooth with vegetable shortening. take the bread and soak in water, adding flour, and seasonings, and heat in soup pot with pounded lobster and vegetable shortening stirring till it boils, and boil for 15 minutes Pass the mixture through a sieve, add milk and pieces of lobster, and return to the pot till it boils again. Serve with small squares of fried bread, and thin slices of lemon.
