 Recipe for Steaming Live Lobster

Recipe for Steaming Live Lobster Ingredients:
  • 4 Live Lobsters  about 1½ lb each
  • 2 cups Fresh Water with Salt added
  • 6 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 Lemons - sliced


Time: 30 min
Serves: 4

Recipe for Steaming Live Lobster Instructions:

  • Bring water to a boiling in large pot.
     

  • Add lobsters one at a time then cover and return water to boil.
     

  • Steam for 15-17 minutes or until lobsters are a bright red.
     

  • Remove steamed lobster and save liquid.
     

  • Pour remaining liquid into sauce pan, add butter and heat until butter is melted.
     

  • Serve in bowls with lemon slices on the side.
