 Cooking Mussels Recipe

Cooking Mussels Recipe Ingredients:
  • 2 lb Mussels
  • 1 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Shallots
  • 3/4 cup Leek Whites - chopped
  • 1 cup Mushrooms - diced
  • 2 tablespoons White Wine Vinegar
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream


Time: 18 min
Serves: 2 - 3

Cooking Mussels Recipe Instructions:

  • Rinse and de-beard mussels.
     

  • Heat olive oil in a Dutch oven and sauté vegetables until limp.
     

  • Add mussels, white wine vinegar and heavy cream.
     

  • Cover and stem on high heat about 4 - 5 minutes until mussels are opened.
     

  • Discard any mussels that failed to open and serve.
