 Mussels in Garlic Sauce Recipe

Mussels in Garlic Sauce Recipe Ingredients:
  • 3 lb Mussels
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
  • 3 Red Chili Pepper Pods
  • 2 Cloves Garlic - minced
  • 1 Scallion - chopped
  • 1/4 cup Sherry
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 cup Fish Stock


Time: 25 min
Serves: 4 - 6

Mussels in Garlic Sauce Recipe Instructions:

  • Scrub mussels very well and remove any beards, barnicles.
     

  • In a large saucepan heat the sesame oil, add the chili pepper pods, scallions , garlic and toss in the oil quickly.
     

  • Add all remaining ingredients and cover.
     

  • Steam covered until all the mussels are open about 7 minutes.
     

  • Serve in a large bowl with the cooling liquor.
