 Mussels Sausage Cream Recipe

Mussels Sausage Cream Recipe Ingredients:
  • 2 dozen Mussels - scrubbed
  • 2 (3˝oz) packages Chorizo Sausages - sliced
  • 3 Garlic Cloves - minced
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • 1 cup Dry White Wine
  • 1 Orange - halved
  • 1/4 cup Parsley - chopped


Time: 45 min
Serves: 2 - 4

Mussels Sausage Cream Recipe Instructions:

  • Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.
     

  • Add chorizo sausage, sauté for about 3 minutes, until browned.
     

  • Add garlic, bay leaves and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
     

  • Add mussels and wine, squeeze orange juice into the pot, then add orange halves.
     

  • Bring to a boil, cover and steam for 5 minutes or until mussels open.
     

  • Discard any that mussels that do not open. Discard bay leaves.
     

  • Sprinkle with parsley to garnish and serve.
