Pasta and Marinated Mussels Ingredients:- 30 Mussels - in shells
- 2 Garlic Cloves - minced
- 2/3 lb Green Linguini
- 1/4 teaspoon Dried Red Chilies
- 1/8 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
- 2 teaspoons Olive Oil
- 1 Sweet Red Bell Pepper - finely diced
- 1/2 cup White Wine
- 4 tablespoons Soft Cream Cheese
- 2 Green Onions - sliced
- 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley - chopped

Pasta and Marinated Mussels Instructions:Sauté onion, garlic, chilies and cayenne pepper in olive oil in a large deep pan for 2 minutes, add the red pepper. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil and cook green linguini for 3 minutes. Drain, then set aside. Sauté for 2 minutes, then stir in wine and cream cheese. Bring this mixture to a boil, then add the mussels. Cover and cook for 3 minutes until the shells are open, add the cooked pasta, parsley and green onion. Stir gently until the pasta has reheated - about 1 minute. Discard any mussels that did not open. Serve immediately.
