Best Oyster Stew Recipe

Best Oyster Stew Recipe Ingredients:
  • 1½ pints Oysters and Oyster Liquor
  • 5 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 cups Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Milk
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste
  • Cayenne Pepper - to taste
  • chopped Parsley - to garnish


Time: 25 min
Serves: 4

Best Oyster Stew Recipe Instructions:

  • Heat a skillet and combine oysters, butter.
     

  • Cook oysters until the edges curl.
     

  • Add hot milk and cream and reheat to boiling point but do not boil.
     

  • Season with salt, pepper, and cayenne to your taste.
     

  • Serve garnished with parsley.
