| Louisiana Oyster Rockefeller Recipe | Louisiana Oyster Rockefeller Recipe Ingredients:- 24 Shucked Oysters - separated from their shells
- 6 strips Bacon - finely chopped
- 1½ lb Fresh Spinach - washed, finely chopped
- 4 Fresh Scallions - finely chopped
- 2 crushed Garlic Cloves - crushed
- a pinch of Fresh Ground Nutmeg
- 5 tablespoons Bread Crumbs
- 2 tablespoons Pernod
- 2 dashes Louisiana Hot Sauce
- salt and pepper - to taste
- Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
- Rock Salt

| Louisiana Oyster Rockefeller Recipe Instructions:Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking pan with 1-inch of rock salt. Shuck oysters. Retain shells, separate oysters saving the liquid. Wash shells, then place the oysters back into a half shell. Plant shells in the rock salt, making sure they're level. In a large skillet fry bacon until crisp, add chopped spinach, crushed garlic and scallions, cook until soft Add bread crumbs, nutmeg, hot sauce, Pernod, and oyster liquor to pan. combine thoroughly season with salt and pepper to your taste. Spoon mixture over each oyster then sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese. Bake for 15 minutes, remove from oven. Put 6 oysters per serving onto warm rock-salted plates and serve.
