Recipe for Oyster Stew

Recipe for Oyster Stew Ingredients:
  • 12oz Fresh Raw Oysters - un-drained
  • 2 Green Onions - chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 quart Half and Half
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon White Pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • Crackers - for serving
  • Green Onions - sliced  for garnish


Time: 25 min
Serves: 4

Recipe for Oyster Stew Instructions:

  • Sauté onion in butter until tender.
     

  • Add all other remaining ingredients.
     

  • Cook over low heat until edges of oysters begin to curl and mixture is hot but not boiling.
     

  • Serve stew with crackers.
     

  • Garnish with sliced green onions.
