- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 3/4 cup Flour
- 2 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1 cup Cornstarch
- 1 Egg
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 3/4 cup Water
- 4 cups Oil

| Deep Fry Prawn Recipe Instructions:Shell the prawns and devein, leaving the tails on. wash the prawns under cold water. Sprinkle with salt and combine well. Refrigerate for 2 hours. Mix flour, cornstarch, baking powder, eggs, oil and water to make batter. Add 4 cups oil to deep fat fryer and heat. Holding the prawns by the tails, dip in batter, then drop into hot oil, fry until golden, turning once, drain on paper towel. Serve hot.
