| Indian Prawn Curry Recipe | Indian Prawn Curry Recipe Ingredients:- 1 kg Raw Prawns
- 1 tablespoon Desiccated Coconut
- 1 tablespoon Ground Rice
- 2 cups Coconut Milk
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 12 Curry Leaves
- 2 Medium Onions - chopped finely
- 5 Garlic Cloves - chopped finely
- 3 teaspoons finely grated Fresh Ginger
- 2 tablespoons Madras Curry Powder
- 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
- 2 teaspoons Paprika
- 1½ teaspoons Salt
- 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
- Rice - for 4 people

| Indian Prawn Curry Recipe Instructions:Remove Shells from the prawns then de-vein prawns. Place desiccated coconut into a dry skillet and toast over medium heat, shaking skillet constantly until coconut is golden brown in color. Remove from skillet, do the same with the ground rice. Place desiccated coconut, ground rice into a blender with half a cup of the coconut milk and blend until smooth and coconut is very finely ground. Heat oil in a saucepan, fry the curry leaves for about 1 minute, add garlic, onions, ginger and fry until golden brown, stirring constantly. Add chili powder, curry powder and paprika and fry on low heat, stirring constantly. Add the blended mixture, salt and coconut milk, stir while bringing to simmering point, simmer gently for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the prawns, mix to combine, simmer for further 10-15 minutes, stir in lemon juice, Serve with rice and enjoy.
