 Kadhai Prawn Recipe

Kadhai Prawn Recipe Ingredients:
  • 450g Raw Tiger Prawns
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh Ginger
  • 2 teaspoons Fresh Garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Hot Madras Curry Paste
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 75g Creamed Coconut - crumbled
  • 150ml Water
  • 2 Tomatoes - chopped
  • 1 pack Coriander - leaves removed, chopped

2 - 4

Kadhai Prawn Recipe Instructions:
  • Combine together the ginger, prawns,  1 teaspoon garlic and curry paste, let sit to marinate 10 minutes.
     

  • Heat the oil in a wok, fry garlic 1 - 2 seconds until light brown.
     

  • Add the prawn mixture, fry for 2 - 3 minutes so the prawns just turn pink, mix in the creamed coconut, tomatoes, water and coriander.
     

  • Bring to the boil and simmer for 2 minutes. Season  with salt and pepper to taste.

  • Remember to only add a little salt to fish dishes
  • If required, serve with your choice of sauce
