 Mango and Prawn Entree Recipe

Mango and Prawn Entree Recipe Ingredients:
  • 1 kg King Prawns - uncooked
  • 2 tablespoons Light Soy Sauce
  • 1 Fresh Long Red Chilli - finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons Sesame Oil
  • 2 teaspoons finely chopped Fresh Coriander Stems
  • 2 Garlic Cloves - crushed
  • 5g Fresh Ginger - grated
  • 1 Medium Mango - thinly sliced
    1 Large Red Capsicum - thinly sliced
  • 1 Lebanese Cucumber - seeded, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Bean Sprouts
  • 1/2 cup loosely packed Fresh Coriander Leaves
  • 2 Green Onions - thinly sliced

    Lime Dressing:
  • 1/3 cup Lime Juice
  • 1 tablespoon grated Palm Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Fish Sauce

Mango and Prawn Entree Recipe Instructions:
  • Remove shells from the prawns and devein leaving tails intact, Mix the prawns in a medium bowl with soy sauce, chilli, oil,  coriander stems, garlic and ginger. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

    Lime Dressing

  • Meanwhile, combine all other ingredients in a jar with a lid. Replace lid and shake very well to combine all the ingredients.
     

  • Heated a large frying pan and cook the prawns in batches, until they are cook.
     

  • Combine prawns, Lime Dressing and remaining ingredients in a large bowl and serve.

  • Remember to only add a little salt to fish dishes
  • If required, serve with your choice of sauce
