BBQ Shrimp Recipe |
BBQ Shrimp Recipe Ingredients:- 5 lb Shrimp - peeled, deveined
- 2 cups Ketchup
- 1 cup Water
- 1½ tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/2 cup Cider Vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon Hot Pepper Sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon Ground Basil
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 1/2 cup Onion - minced
- 2 Garlic Cloves - minced
- 1 tablespoon Bacon Fat
- 1/2 cup Celery - diced
- 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon Ground Oregano
- 1/4 cup Parsley - minced
- Salt - to taste
- 1 Lemon - juice and rind of
- Skewers - for barbecuing

BBQ Shrimp Recipe Instructions:Combine all the ingredients together except shrimp in a saucepan and cook for 35 - 50 minutes stirring frequently 35-50 minutes. Allow sauce to cool and refrigerate for 24 hours to allow flavors to blend. Marinate shrimp in sauce a at least of 1 hour, arrange shrimp on barbecuing skewers. Barbecue, basting the shrimp every minute with the remaining sauce. Should be done in about 5 minutes.
