| Shrimp Bisque Recipe | Shrimp Bisque Recipe Ingredients:- 1 lb Medium Shrimp - peeled, deveined, chopped
- 1/2 cup Butter - use divided
- 1/2 cup chopped Celery
- 1/2 cup chopped Onion
- 1/2 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 3 cups Water
- 1 teaspoon Chicken Soup Base
- 1 tablespoon Tomato Ketchup
- 1 Bay Leaf
- 1/8 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
- 1 tablespoon Seasoned Salt
- 1 (12-ounce) can Evaporated Milk
- 2 tablespoons Dry White Wine

| Shrimp Bisque Recipe Instructions:In a medium saucepan over medium heat melt 2 tablespoons butter, add shrimp, celery and onion, cook, stirring occasionally, until shrimp turn pink. Remove from saucepan; set aside. In same saucepan melt remaining butter over medium heat then stir in flour and gradually stir in water, chicken soup base, ketchup, bay leaf, cayenne pepper and seasoned salt. Bring to the Boil, stirring occasionally; reduce heat to low. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes. Add shrimp mixture; cook, stirring occasionally, for 2 minutes, remove bay leaf. Stir in evaporated milk and wine. Heat through and serve.
